Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
  And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
  The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
  And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
  And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
  The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
  He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
  He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
  Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
  And the mome raths outgrabe.

Home to a Wedding!

Hi! I've been missing this space. Blame the fun fat holiday back home. But now I am back. In fact, I've been back for almost a month, to reality of course.

Home was fun. There wasn't a day my family and I weren't on the road traveling, except when we had A&J's wedding done at home. This was the first wedding done at my parents house. We really didn't know what to expect but pray.

The day before the 2nd wedding at home, we all got very busy. I mainly didn't do anything much but did help with small chores for the pros. were all at their designated jobs. Oh, I got to help with the decoration a little bit where I was assigned to wrap a circular wood for gold wedding bands. I messed up more than a dozen!

In the cooking department, my mom had all her comrades. She wanted to make sure that her guests go home with a happy tummy and not having to do rounds of toilet runs (like the previous weddings we attended. Man, that was horrible!).

Then came the day. All the guests are seated, the bride arrived in all her glory while my great aunt grandma and the groom welcomed her with a the traditional gongs beating away as they made their entrance.

The food was top notched and service was great. We were all tired when the day ended. Too early to celebrate 2015 yet not too early to bed. When the firework's sparkled and shooting the stars, my household was all drooling and fast asleep.

Happy Belated New Year, my STILL FAITHFUL readers!
