The Year of The Horsie

I've always loved how the Chinese use their calligraphy brush to paint pictures.  I used to learn how to write with a calligraphy brush when I was in the elementary school many moons ago. Yet, I have forgotten and lost the skills all together.

This is the year of the horse. I don't know much about horses but one thing I know, horses symbolizes power and strength. It is sad to not being able to go home and celebrate with family and friends (it has been years), but I am sure that my Cina friends here will be able to keep our spirit high and celebrate with a toast or two!
