Towards the end of last month, Hobbit and I drove to Hua Hin for my school's annual retreat at Courtyard by Marriott. To be honest this was our first drive out to Hua Hin even though we had been to this lovely place many times before. We had to rely on the gps handheld garmin to take us there. Thankfully, the journey was a smooth one. Usually we take the van or the bus to Hua Hin and these public transportation take their passengers on a usual route instead of using the motorway. We decided to take the motorway because we would spend less time traveling.
Thank God for the pleasant weather. We managed to stop at several stoplets and drive thru. One spanking nice and clean stop was right after several kilometers of the Rama II bridge. I love the restrooms there and the McD drive thru as well. I should have taken a decent picture of that place. Yet all I took was a picture of my orders and some silly pictures of me standing next to a sitting McD figurine and a standing one. :) In short, lots of restroom stop overs before we got to the hotel. We reached at about 10ish in the morning. The Social Committee were already there working hard ensuring our smooth stay. It didn't take us long before we were taken to our breathtaking sea view room. I will try and blog about the room and the stay after this post. Stay tuned if not. :)
