Not blowing our horns here but reading through the Bible and finishing it within a time frame say, one year, takes a lot of discipline and devotions. Back in my high school I remembered I struggled as I was to meet with the Pathfinder's curriculum deadlines and requirements. Then in my college years, I gave up with the Praying the Bible in a Year schedule. I took my sweet time and never finished! There were times I found myself complaining and forcing myself to finish a chapter which is totally meaningless unless I read it for nothing!
Well, this year I am going to enjoy my journey through. I am not going to rush through the finish line but to enjoy the run--just like what I did when I joined the marathon run last year!
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you", says the LORD, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall you call upon Me, and you shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart." ~Jeremiah 29:11-13
