Rainy Sunday

I love it when it rains on early Sunday morning because you could just stay in bed and sleep some more. Today I woke up to a roaring thunder and as much as I was trying to recall my DNA testing dream, I couldn't. Anyway, I had a great start this morning. I decided to cancel Platinum trip because my 3 new tutoring students were coming in the afternoon. I wouldn't be back by the time they come if I go. After the morning routine, I sat right in front of my sewing machine and picked up on where I left the day before. Here's the end result...

The pattern was easy to follow but I still can't manage the sewing. It took me about 2 hours to finish this up. The left shoe is somehow smaller than the right shoe due to my amateur sewing. Nevertheless, I get to experiment on how to add felt. It was another worthy learning process. :)

The afternoons were spent with three lovely students. We got along quickly and even played a nice Amazing Grace duet on the piano and sax! Looking forward to their next visit.
