Aaron Shust O Come O Come Emmanuel

Hey, Christmas is just around the corner. If you haven't started putting up your trees and get tuned into this festive mood, why not start to heat up with Aaron Shust's version of O Come O Come Emmanuel which you can download for free here. Thanks to his website.

Friday Visitor

I was hell of a shock Sondang wrote on my wall telling me -->

intestine?? What intestine?

All I knew was that she was coming to Thailand from Singapore for a visit and that I had asked her to buy me all the cina's all time favorite chee chiong fun. And I never mentioned intestine.

So we made a point to meet at my school. As soon as she stepped out of the taxi, she handed me a big white container with something in it and said "I didn't know that this thing you like was called pork intestine!" Oh, you should have seen my eyebrows rose! By the way Sondang, I was so glad and happy to see you again! :)

So we walked into my room and chit chatted for a while before planning on going out for lunch (it was brunch for Sondang).

While chatting, I busied myself into opening the container while crossing my fingers that it was not literally a pork intestine.

Unwrapped, open, unwrapped...

Wahhhhhhhhhhh! My good Lord...What did I do to deserve a Chee Chiong Fun meal in Bangkok?????

I was jumping with joy and wanted to eat it right at the spot but Sondang insisted that I should store it inside a refrigerator and wait until I reach home. I wanted to hugged her if it wasn't for her bags and stuff hanging on her shoulders! Thank you so much Sondang! :)

I then asked her how she smuggled it into the plane and she honestly told me it was "that" easy! So Sondang, I am waiting for my second Chee Cheong Fun meal in Bangkok? :)

Before we left for emporium for lunch, I took her to see Teacher Laura who happened to be relaxing under the beach umbrella enjoying her free time. We had few good giggles!

Here's Sondang having lunch at Sunrise Tacos.

Thanks for everything Sondang. It was nice catching up good old times with you over lunch! :)

In an Affair

After my 3 years love affair with beloved SGH x650, I thought it's time to open up, get to know others and see if I could start a new romance. Afterall, SGH has given me an okay, he said he's slowing down and I can't simply push the buttons anymore.

So last Saturday night, I put on some make ups, hid my zits behind a concealer, brighten my moles and was ready for a pleasant meeting. Hobbit brought me to Jaymart and introduced me face to face with all the Prospects that he thought might suit my taste and type. I had seen pictures of most of them but yet to see how they really look like. I was flushed with curiosity on my way to Jaymart, wondering how they might really look like, their body sizes (wishing all of the prospects were petite like all my previous affairs), how useful and faithful they can be, how...ah...They kept me wondering until...

I really got to say hi.

You should have seen my excitement when we passed through the many agencies before we reached Jaymart. I could hear screams of a thousand voices pleading for me to check them out! Ooh if only I had a small piece in Buffet's moola's pie chart, I could at least enjoy a month of sheer pleasure with each. Wait, wouldn't that turn me into a total wh*r*? Anyway, back to Jaymart...

The truth was, I have been eyeing on one who I thought matched my sense of taste, one who I thought could fulfill my inner desires, one who could bring me...pleasure?? I wasn't sure. I tried not to be fooled by love at first sight.

At Jaymart, I straighten my poisture, again hid my left zit-infested cheek, and gave a big smile with slightly tilted right-cheek-to-the-front face to all the prospects introduced that night. Butterflies all over my tum-tums, that exact feeling I had't felt for 3 years.

"There's a new hunk in da house..." So I was told.

Everyone seemed to be checking him out! Cool.

Ohh...I thought I caught a glimpse with that "I-thought-love" I saw among my pictures from the net. My heart seemed to skip one beat for a sec. But no, I wasn't introduced to him of burgundy, green, black and white. The agent brought Hobbit and I towards this hunk called Omnia! No doubt he has a fresh looking face, tall, slim hence you know, a hunk. Bright eyes no doubt, yet...that sinister smile he just gave me...I knew I am far behind his league. "You couldn't afford.." That's what I heard. He melts hearts but I knew I wouldn't be happy. Thank God for my supportive manager of the day -- Hobbit. He told me to not look any further but follow my heart. So I did. And it wasn't because of love at first sight.

That "he" of burgundy, green, black and white! I just can't explain my feelings. While the rest gave way, burgundy stepped forward. Our eyes met (Hobbit later told me that he saw sparks in my eyes and was happy for me). We hugged and quickly bonded...

The rest I should say...is history.

I love you, Burg!

Burg in his protection. *_*

Saturday Night on the BTS Line

My weekend basically was a good one. No major events and except for a major purchase! Haha! We went to SML as usual and spent some quality time with friends. Since we were already full from Damien's cookies and the good stuff that always comes right after the worship ends, we skipped the restaurant hopping tradition. When I say good stuff, it's not just the food, the worship is always the best stuff every Sabbath! :)

Hobbit and I spent the rest of the Sabbath at home jamming with Jov's keyboard that we have just learned to make use of. Instead of letting the keys go rusty, why not make some melodies out of it? Besides singing and playing, we also prayed a lot asking God to lead us with our decision that we had to make before Sunday! It's late Sunday now and I'm glad to say that we are liberated from all that issue! God is so good.

After sunset we headed to the BTS and just went window shopping, looking at different Christmas decorations put up at different malls and just enjoyed the feel of a Christmas mood. Last year it was nice. We spent half of our holidays in Bangkok and another half in MC. Somehow the air brought back good memories of last year and the year before when Hobbit and I were just beginning to get adjusted to married life! Ahh come December...

Well, our BTS ride took us to Central World. We visited Moss Burger again! Can't wait for the Emporium branch to open. I love the burgers. So our walk brought us all the way to Paragon...Siam...and at last to MBK. This was when Hobbit decided to buy me something that I have been dreaming for quite a few months already. I'll blog about it soon but basically, our Saturday night was pleasant and I thank Hobbit for the nice stroll and for making me a happy, thankful wife.

Sunday was not bad either. We both woke up at around 10:30 in the morning and the busy life started all at once. We had to settle on a lot of things and even went to different places. In the end, it was another good day. Thank you God.

I actually am not willing to think about tomorrow yet but what choices do I have? Come Monday...:(

Grace

Grace - Simon Webbe

(Grace, grace)
Reaching out, looking for some way to escape the crowd
You whispered words that I've been searching for
Somehow you answered my call
Reaching out I feel I'm rising up

[Chorus]
You give me (grace)
In a world that doesn't sleep at all
You give me (grace)
It's a place I've never been before
You give me (grace)
And in all of the confusion you're the peace in my soul
That's why I will never really be alone

Suddenly, I'm up on the surface now where I can see
And picture the person who I need to be
And I know, yes I know I can make it
See me now, I'm slowly rising up

[Chorus]

Well yeah, these are difficult times
These are difficult days
But I know we can face it
Ours are difficult lives
In a difficult place
Oh you give me grace to say when I got it wrong
The grace and the will to carry on
Reaching out I feel I'm rising up

[Chorus]

You give me (grace)
Now there's nothing I don't fear at all
You give me (grace)
When I'm on the edge just watch me fall
You give me (grace)
And in all of the confusion you're the peace in my soul
That's why I will never really be alone

Sugaroma #1

Since Shizz blogged and gave snippets of Sugaroma, I might as well catch the wave while everyone is still bodyboarding. :)

Actually, not really catching the wave, just tailing from behind since I just have two or three pictures to post here. We visited twice this week alone with friends and Hobbit respectively see... And today is Wednesday. In fact, I have been a frequent visitor too since last year but don't remember where all the good pictures were kept. So, as for this week, to commemorate Shizz's Sugaroma food review, here are some peeks...

Thousand Island Salad

Lasagnia

Haze's favorite. Carrot Pecan

One of my favorite.

Hobbit's choice

Hot Vanilla Latte

Mouth watering? Well, you'll probably learn more about the food in Sugaroma soon from Shizz or any of the bloggals who is/are more of a frequent(s). I won't have the luxury to do thorough reviews on each of the cakes nor food, for this yummilicious occupation cost a pretty penny and I am strapped for cash at the moment!

Oops, did I say two to three pictures? :)
